Texas Star Rescue is dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from kill shelters across East Texas and Louisiana.
We have our favorites of course, but Texas Star Rescue is non-discriminatory when it comes to breeds... or sizes. We take in anything from Great Danes to Teacup Chihuahuas.
All TSR dogs and cats come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. We ensure they are in the best health possible before becoming part of your family.

OUR MISSION
Texas Star Rescue has been in operation since 2011 in Longview, Texas to help alleviate the number of animals put to sleep in local shelters. Our mission and our passion is to rescue homeless dogs and cats from kill shelters and find them loving "furrever" homes. In addition, we are dedicated to helping educate people in our community on spaying and neutering their pets, vaccinating their pets, and caring for their pets.

DOG ADOPTIONS (updated 1.13.22)
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all dog adoptions will be conducted by appointment only once an adopter's application has been approved.
CAT ADOPTIONS however, will still be available at Petsmart in Longview, TX at their cat room during their business hours.
